Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- Service refers to the URL shortening and redirect platform provided by zbrah.io.
- User or you refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Service.
- Account refers to your registered user profile and associated data.
- Custom Domain refers to any domain you add to the Service for use with your short links.
Your Responsibilities
When using zbrah.io, you must:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Not use the service for illegal content or purposes
- Not create links to malware, phishing sites, or harmful content
- Not use the service by way of any automated request
- Not reserve short codes without purpose or the intent to use, or otherwise abuse the commons of our short code pool, which is finite
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, while using the service in a manner consistent with good internet citizenry and golden rule principles
Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without notice or refund:
- Link farms: Creating large numbers of links primarily to inflate metrics, manipulate analytics, or create the appearance of legitimate traffic
- Link spam: Automated or bulk creation of links for distribution across websites, forums, comments, social media, or other platforms without genuine user intent
- Search engine manipulation: Using short links to artificially influence search rankings, including but not limited to link schemes, doorway pages, hidden redirects, or any technique designed to manipulate PageRank or similar algorithms
- Affiliate fraud: Using redirect chains, cookie stuffing, or deceptive practices to generate illegitimate affiliate commissions
- Click fraud: Generating artificial clicks through bots, scripts, or incentivized traffic to manipulate analytics or advertising metrics
- Cloaking: Showing different content to search engines than to users, or using our service to mask the true destination of links
- Malicious redirects: Using our service to redirect users to malware, phishing pages, scam sites, or any content designed to harm or deceive
- Platform abuse: Using our infrastructure in ways that degrade service quality for other users, including excessive API calls, scraping, or denial-of-service patterns
We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether any use of the service violates these prohibitions or the spirit of these terms.
Minimum Age
You must be at least 16 years old to use zbrah.io, unless a lower age is permitted in your country under GDPR Article 8. If you are below the applicable minimum age, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Account Termination

- Patterns of use that suggest spam, fraud, or manipulation, even if not explicitly listed in these terms
- Failure to respond to inquiries about your account or link activity within a reasonable timeframe
- Any other reason we deem necessary to protect the service, our users, or the broader internet community
Upon termination:
- All your short links will immediately stop functioning
- Your account data will be deleted and may not be recoverable
- You will not be entitled to any refund, prorated or otherwise, regardless of remaining subscription time
- We may retain certain data as required by law or for fraud prevention purposes
We are under no obligation to provide reasons for termination or to give you an opportunity to cure any alleged violation before termination. Our decision to terminate is final and not subject to appeal.
Subscriptions and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. Trial periods may be offered at our discretion. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining valid payment information
- Cancelling your subscription before the next billing cycle to avoid charges
- All applicable taxes on subscription fees
We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods or unused features.
Service Availability
We provide link shortening on a best-effort basis. Short links are not permanent and may stop working at any time due to:
- Service interruptions, maintenance, or technical issues
- Account termination or suspension
- Cancellation of your subscription
- Violation of these terms
- Discontinuation of the service
We do not guarantee uptime or availability. You should maintain alternative access to your destination URLs.
Custom Domains
If you add a custom domain, you are responsible for:
- Owning or controlling the domain
- Configuring DNS records correctly
- Maintaining domain registration and DNS hosting
- Removing the domain before it expires or is transferred
We are not responsible for domains you misconfigure or lose access to.
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your content and data. By using the service, you grant us permission to:
- Store and process your links and analytics data
- Display your short links publicly
- Perform redirects using your destination URLs
The zbrah.io platform, design, and branding remain our property.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or freedom from harmful components
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or link failures
- Third-party access to your data
- Errors in analytics or reporting
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
